BACKGROUND.
She attended her primary school at Mandlakababa P. School, proceeded to Ndedema
Junior School and high school at Mayisha Secondary.
She hasdiscovered her singing and dancing career at the age of ten (10) where she joined
Izwelabo Cultural Group as a lead vocalist. She collaborated with different artists such as
Jeffrey, Sisco Tee, Smangele and the late Sothembeni Masilela, the founder of Igwabo
Lekangala.
In 2008 she went solo and released her debut album titled “uMakalanyana”. In 2011 she
released her second album titled “uMona” which was nominated in the SATMA awards for
the same year.
In 2015 she released her third album titled “Ijamo Lami” which has also earned her SATMA
awards nominations in two categories.

TALENT AND STAGE ATTRIBUTES.
A Ndebele young energetic traditional singer, composer and dancer Angie”M”, from Waterval
“B” in Mpumalanga Province has again released her third project called “Ijamo Lami” which
came after her previous two albums named “Makalanyana” and “Umona”.
According to her new manager and producer Mr. Simon Masombuka, “Angie is a readymade
material to use whenever you want to unlike others whom we met before and that
make her special and distinct. The most thing that makes us pride ourselves about her is
she‘s innovative, enthusiastic and always strive to offer her audience different taste of dance
and appearance on stage that is equal her age”.
Her music has both mixtures of modern oldies sounds so as to accommodating young and
old, a unique way of singing style which gives it a nice taste to be enjoyed by every African,
and furthermore she has this special attraction of young people to also follow traditional
music the same they are doing to other genres. The consistent improvement on her musical
career indicates she’s still has lot to offer to her supporters and for the industry itself and, no
doubt that soon she will take over from NoThembi who is the only known and worldwide
admired Ndebele musician, especially for the fact that Nothembi is ageing and obviously she
will retire.
The last project consist of ten tracks that their lyrics are sang in IsiNdebele, and as the
management we are calling for everyone out there to give their time to just listen to it once
and surely you won’t regret doing so but you’ll be amazed by the different flavour that is in
there. The likes of “Ubamkhulu”, ‘Ifundo”, “UNomakhuwa” and “Mntazana” this are the songs
we believe to have highly favourable preference of young people. Ijamo lami is her third
hottest album for the year 2015.

ACHIEMENTS.
In 2011 her album called “uMona” had earned her SATMA nominations under the category
of best Ndebele song of the year.
In 2015 her album called “Ijamo Lami” had earned her SATMA nominations in two categories
of Best New Comer and Best Ndebele Album 2015
Besides, she has performed at many festivals of commercial and social which were
organised by private and public sector authorities.
The biggest achievement was in September 2017 where she and the cultural group took a musical tour to perform in RUSSIAN COUNTRY which was sponsored by Mpumalanga Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation.
